Add an avian touch to your handmade greetings using die cut feathers

What you need...
  • Dies: Die-namics, feathers and arrow, medium; large
    Die-cutting machine
Papers: My Mind’s Eye, Remarkable; patterned
    Card: cream, brown, red
Rubber stamp: Every day, 'Best Wishes'
    Ink, black
    Felt, red
    Thread, white
instructions
  1. Attach red card to the front of an A6 blank. Stamp a sentiment onto cream card using black ink and trim, then round the right corners and fix to the centre of the card.

  2. Cut out several ribbon shapes from various patterned papers and put to one side. Die-cut a feather from red card and place onto the centre of the widest ribbon shape.

  3. Hold in place and pierce a line of evenly spaced holes down the centre of the feather. Sew the feather to the ribbon shape using white thread and running stitch.

  4. To complete, stick this final piece to the left of the card and gently raise each side of the feather to create a 3-D effect.
